Amazon Package Stuck in Indianapolis for Ten Days

I purchased some items from amazon.com, and FEDEX was supposed to deliver them in 5-8 days. Since November 8th I have been tracking the package, and it shows that it's still in Indianapolis, IN. It's evening in NY, 10 days later, and the package is still in Indiana, or the tracking is messed up and the delivery date is messed up.
Who is to blame for the slow delivery? Sandy was 3 weeks ago, and all I read is that it's because of Sandy. Give me a break. I will make sure next time I pick UPS. When my guy from UPS has something to deliver, he's always at my address between 2:30 and 3 pm. That kind of delivery is what I would like to get from FedEx. UPS has only been late once, and it was only 1 day late, from CA, not IN.
