Tracking Said Out for Delivery but No Driver Ever Came

I had a delivery coming from walmart.com, and they shipped it by FedEx. My tracking said it was out for delivery, so I stayed home all day. At 5:59 pm it updated to state I was not home to sign for my package. I was home all day, and none ever attempted to deliver my package. Even my neighbor never saw a FedEx truck, and she was also home all day; we share a driveway. FedEx refuses to believe their driver never attempted the delivery, but they said that if he did, there would be a tag on my door, which was open, by the way, at the time of delivery because we were all in our front room wrapping presents and waiting for that package.

Well, no truck, no driver, no tag. Also, I have heard from my neighbors down the street that this same thing happened to them, and in their case the drivers have to get those trucks back to the station, so they will say they attempted delivery when they did not so they will not be late returning their trucks. Something should be done about FedEx. Their customer service is shoddy, and I cannot afford to replace those items, and I had to order them because they cannot be purchased anywhere near my home.
