I received a text (which I thought was from Best Buy) saying that I won a $1,000 gift card and to go to website and type in number code. Not one mention of a charge. Went to website, typed in code and it directed me to a survey. Took survey, still no mention of a charge, and never received gift card. I did; however get a charge on my T-Mobile bill. I telephoned T-Mobile and they agreed, happily I might add, to remove the charge. This is such a scam I cannot believe. I am a senior and totally feel stupid. What can we do to stop these companies?
