Different refund treatment after iPad3 boxes contained only paper

I live in Michigan and just heard of the third story that a consumer purchased an IPAD3 from Walmart and there was paper in the box rather than the ipad. Each was bought at a different store. The Roseville and Monroe refunded the customer within 24 hours. The third customer did not receive a refund from the store and is only receiving it from the corporate offices after the new media got involved. This appears to be racist as the two customers that received the refund from the store were white and the one that the store refused to refund is black. I am a black female that frequents Walmart regularly. This incident is makes me think about future purchases.
