Claim Denied for Outboard Motor Damaged During Shipping

I filed a claim with FedEx, and William Cobb denied it. I shipped an outboard motor in a Rubbermaid container with lots of bubble wrap and cardboard to avoid damage. A FedEx employee placed a heavy package on top, and it damaged the motor inside the container. FedEx denied the claim, stating the motor needed to be shipped in a wooden crate. The last time I tried to ship something in a wooden crate, FedEx would not ship it because they claimed it would damage their belts. I paid extra for insurance. FedEx will do anything not to pay a claim.
