Debris in Great value pasta sauce

We purchased a jar of pasta sauce at Walmart, while eating it we discovered several pieces, small and large of a wood like debris. We threw the rest away and rinsed the jar out and large pieces of debris off. We were ill and stuck at home for nearly 2 days from ingesting these debris. When we felt better we took the jar and debris pieces back to Walmart. They had a women whom is uncaring and rather rude from Unilever call us, her name is Lauren. She has done nothing to cover our ER medical costs and is bad about returning calls. We had to send the paper work and medical releases to her twice because she claimed to have not received them. She does not return calls. She is now claiming she is waiting for the jar to come from Walmart to be inspected. Why inspect the jar when she needs to inspect the debris. She has been rather unresponsive and we feel she is playing games to get out of paying for the medical costs.
