Roofing job nightmare

I have never in my life seen such a mess inside this home I am renting, they showed up at 8:30 A.M. Which was great, but it was as I was leaving for several hours. The amount of cleanup from debris I am doing in my residence is unbelievable to say the least! There is black debris and dirt and whatever else all over all of my stored items in my family room. They responded by saying they don't "go inside", when I asked them if they were in a rich neighborhood and destroyed some wealthy peoples stuff, would that be ok? No tarps thrown down to try to cover anything at all! Then they asked me to go to the store and buy them ice because they're thirsty! They knocked on my door 3x and I did infact give them cold water to drink, but how unprepared and unprofessional is this!?!
