My wife placed a hold deposit for a 2br/2bath apartment on 1-19-11, none were available, and they would not know availability until 2-06-11, she called on 2-01-12 to tell the office we had found something else, at which point she was told that we only had 72hrs to change our minds, (a deposit for a unit that doesn't even exisit!), when I called they told me that she had "verbally agreed to accept a 2bd / 1 bath, I didn't agree, they have nothing in writing that either of us agreed to a lesser apt, and it was also a Postal Money Order she paid with, and again, we didn't get a reciept, but I do have the stub from the M.O.
