Didn't received deposit

We have booked one of his apartments in Valverde for oktober 2011.
We paid a deposit of € 310,00 for 3 weeks.
We wanted to change the date of 2 (from the 3 weeks) into april
He agree and we paid the rent for those 2 weeks in advance.
Later that year my wife get's ill and was not able to fly at that time.
That's why we wanted to change the week that has left in oktober, into 2 weeks later.

He said' that he was booked full that date, later he said' he was doing some work on the apartment.
Anyway, like he told us earlier, he never rented out his apartments in oktober anyway.
He don't want to give us de deposit of € 310,00 back or let us come 2 weeks later.
He charge us the full deposit (€ 315,00) instead of the € 210,00 as agree upon for 1 week!
We are very disappointed by this guy and have lost our faith and some money.
As long as you are willing to pay he is alright, as soon as that changed he becomes a different person.
