Loan Modification Denied Because Every Payment Was Made on Time

I applied for a loan modification. First I was told I did not qualify because I had not sent enough information, and I showed them that I had given them everything they asked for.

I could not meet my mortgage payments, which is why I asked for a modification. They said they were working on it for six months and told me to continue paying my monthly payments on time. I borrowed over $1,500.00 to make that happen.

Then I got a letter saying I was denied because I had paid all my payments on time.

What a scam. They make it look like they are trying to help you out, and then they deny you. They had my expenses, they could see my income and what I had to pay out, and I told them I was borrowing money to help pay... Someone needs to look into this. Has anyone else been scammed by Citibank?
