Muster Protection Agreement is a Lemon

Eloctrolux washer and dryer about one year old have problems. 1. Steam did not work in the dryer. Wait 3 weeks, technitian comes out orders parts, parts arrive within 5 days still wait 3 week for the next appt. Repair takes place now all the clothes are wet following an attept to run a steam cycle. Call for appt - another 4 weeks. 2. Washer does not pass soap to the wash every 3 cycles. With small children this is a big deal as run a lot of washes and have to run wash twice. Wait 3 weeks, technitian comes out does something. Washer does not work. Call for appt for the same problem wait 3 weeks, technitian comes out orders parts, parts arrive within 5 days still wait 3 week for the next appt. 3. Appt is scheduled between 8 am and noon today. I called yesterday to make sure tsears shows up to fix the washer. I called this morning and was assured 11 am. Close to noon voice message from Sears - running late. Calling 800 479 63521. Representative #66218 is telling me that Sears does not guarantee anything if they are then they are late and the technitian will get to me when he can.

I paid $600 for the master protection agreement for washer and dryer! When they sell the agreement you are told (quote from the chart with Sears): "Shawn: Sears Master Protection Agreement will give a total protection for your appliance for the complete covered period, wherein you can expect 24 hours and 7 days a week service from our Qualified technician for any problem in the appliance. Shawn: In addition to this, should there be more than 4 repairs on the appliance in one year, you can get the entire replacement of the appliance."
