After a year of receiving sub-par internet speeds at home and allowing Verizon to take my payments directly out of my credit card every month to ensure payments were always on time, instead of rewarding me as a loyal customer by lowering my rates, they raised them instead. I was very unhappy and was forced to phone in. After spending several minutes navigating their difficult phone system, the system hung up on me. I phoned in again, navigated, was left on hold with music on for a long time, then hung up on AGAIN! Brilliant for a communications company! When I finally reached a rep after about 35 minutes on hold, they apologized (to the individuals credit) and worked with me to adjust my rate. But then I received my bill a month later - no adjustment. I called in again - waited on hold forever again - and when I finally reached a rep - no record of my previous conversation or the adjusted rate. I was back at square one. The rep agreed to give me the credit and but I would have to speak to a supervisor to get the current month credited. After 43 more minutes on hold, a supervisor finally picked up and again I had to battle for the $10 credit. All of this anguish and bad service for $10?? Really Verizon??
