Verizon
Billing after cancelled service

Electronics and household app.

I switched from verizon to optimum online about two months ago. Right after the switch, I called Verizon to cancel the service and made very clear that I didn't need anything from them. But two months later, I, all of a sudden, got a letter from them saying that I have to pay two months internet bill.

After talking to 6 different verizon people and spending ridiculous amount of time on the phone, all I end up with is that there is nothing they really can do. The first two reps even told me that I didn't cancel the service and there was no record of cancelation in the system, when it printed clearly on the bill that i called on the 15th to cancel the service.

Finally I was able to get hold of a supervisor, who turned out to be useless anyway. She said that it showed that they gave me a month 'save credit' after cancelation. I clearly told them to cancel the internet service, because i don't want to use two internets at the same time (who does?). She was unhappy and asked me to pay the full payment anyway in which it still has 18 days due even i cancal right away.

I think i have right not to pay this bill, but under situation like this, i am sure they will keep sending bill to me and ruin my credit report. I will never use verizon anymore in my future because that was enough for me.
