Several months ago, Optimum sent a notice that it was taking over Bresnan. Today, I learned that the price structure under Optimum would save $24/month off the price under Bresnan. Optimum did not inform us at the time of the takeover that there were 2 price structures and that we would have to specifically request to migrate to the Optimum prices. When I called to talk to the billing dept to rectify the over-charge, my phone call was put on hold indefinitely. The fact that Optimum did not answer indicates that they are making it impossible to discuss billing irregularities.
