Hi, I haven't received a response to my email sent August 11. I have to say thank you for making my shopping choices easier. Today I purchased a new washing machine. It was NOT from the brick store. Within the next 2 weeks I will be purchasing a new mattress it will NOT be from the brick. One of the people inconvenienced by this faux pas bought a new condo and is purchasing new appliances. They will NOT be from the brick.

I will NOT be purchasing the extended warranty on my dime. So, if anything goes wrong with this fridge in the next 5 years I will be circulating this email throughout the appropriate social network.

Hi, I bought a fridge from The Brick Store from the north store in
Regina. The door fell off on a couple of weeks ago. I went to the north
store personally to see if it was something I could fix in the interim.
They said not to mess with it and to call TransGlobal. The fellow that
came out to assess it was shocked as he had never seen this before and
said he couldn't even pretend to explain it. He said he would send in a
request for authorization that same day, which was several days after my
initial call. I have to say TransGlobal was awesome to deal with. I
called them about a week later and they informed me that it was approved
for replacement.

The Brick in Regina called me to book delivery and to let me know I had
to repurchase the warranty as I used it up. Today the fridge was
delivered and the guys were great to deal with.

The issue I have is that I told the person I booked the delivery time
with when I worked but that I could run home within 5 minutes to meet
the guys for delivery. Not at any time in our several conversations did
she mention that I would not be able to plug in the fridge for an hour
to protect the compressor. The guys who delivered it told me. I booked a
certain amount of time off work to accommodate what The Brick and I had
agreed to for delivery. I had to call work and juggle schedules to allow
for me to stay at home for the extra time. Plus, I would have unpacked
the fridge and freezer differently so it wasn't sitting in the open for
an hour. Just to give you a visual of how hot it is the ice cubes were
melted within 15 minutes.

I expect compensation as I had to book extra time off from work and use
holiday time. I would have picked an evening or weekend delivery if
proper information had been shared. I would like the 5 year warranty for
free to compensate me for my time, the time of my colleagues and the
inconvenience it created.
