I ordered my DSL online. Reviewed the information to make sure there wouldn't be a termination fee because I didn’t want yet ANOTHER contract with AT&T. A few months later I moved to an apartment with DSL included so cancelled my service in April. I got a bill this month (June) for $105!!! I called AT&T and after being transferred 6 times I was on the phone for over 45 mins. I was told that that fee was a termination fee. I was explaining to the awful, rude customer service witch that I was NOT told about the termination fee when I called to cancel and that I have NO documentation stating I was going to be charged when I signed up but the lady kept interrupting me and talking over me to telling me that if I would "calm down and explain the problem" she MIGHT be able to help, which REALLY made me yell since she wouldn't let me talk. I have the e-mail confirmation from when I signed up and NO WHERE did it say I was going to be charged a termination fee. They rip you off and are VERY rude. If you start out the conversation on a pleasant note it will NOT last by the time you’re done being argued with and interrupted by the incredibly RUDE people they have working there.
