Won't Refund and Still Charging Me After I Cancelled Contractg

I signed up with Verizon as part of a bundle with Century Link. I separated the bundle when I moved. 18 months later I was having issues with being able to make the $220 a month bill. I called to make arrangements for shut the phones down until I could pay. My husband lost his job so I was having to pay all the bills. They would not work with me. They would not reduce the plan to something reasonable. They wouldn't even do a temp shut off. I tried to do that online as there is a place for it and was told I had to call. They said they couldn't do it. So I cancelled my contract. They billed me for the month following the shut off and one early termination on one line. They continued to bill for the second line for another month. I cancelled that one. Filed a BBB complaint which did no good. Then in early Nov I get an early termination charge for the other phone line twice what the first one had been. I'd had both phones the same amount of time and cancelled them at the same time. The second early termination came after Verizon sent me to collections. This is all over a $194 bill and is now over $700! They won't work with me in anyway and never would. That was why I cancelled the contract. We weren't very happy to begin with as the phone my husband got had to be replaced 3 times in the first year as defective. So when they pulled this stunt we said enough and cancelled.
