Settlement

I made a settlement with Bank of America back in Aug or Sept and sent them a check with what they settled for and i wrote on my check paid in full in the note section that was in 2009. I told them that i wanted my account close and they agreed the money i paid them wasn't the full amount of the credit card but they settled for less. Then in there was a balance that they was writing off and then i told them to close the account and they said that they would do that as soon as my check cleared and that was 2009. Then i got a letter in the mail that they where suing me that was in Jan.instead of closing the account they put it as a charge off so then they sold the balance that was left on my account to a collection agency probably for pennies. Then they the collection agency sent it to one of there lawyers and i was served with papers that they where suing me for like 3200 to 3300 dollars. They said in the paper work that i receive that i had 20 days to call them but i didn't so now i don't know what will happen. A couple of other cc did the same thing but the problem that i had with Bank of America i only ever had 1 cc with them and it shows on my credit score that i had three of them. But now how do i get that charge off, off of my credit report. If any one deals with Bank of America or thinks about it don't do it they are the worst cc company to deal with.
