First if you call them to cancel the directtv subscription, they hang up on you or put you on hold and never get back to you.

Then if you call back again, they hang up on you and finally if you manage to get hold of somebody all you will hear is "unfortunately we cannot do anything about it".

My directtv receiver broke and they never shipped another one. And they charged me for the time I was waiting for the receiver. And I gave up called to cancel the subscription, they made me pay for the time I did not have the receiver.

I used to work for Directtv in their IT department. I recommend you not to go for directtv, as I see a lot of manipulations in their systems
