Ordering pay per view movies more than a year ago Colorado

I have canceled directtv in september because I was offered a better deal with my phone company. I have canceled and send the boxes to directtv and later on I get this bill for over $110 in adult pay per view movies ordered from all my 4 receivers. Now all four receivers did not have a phone line hooked up or a line near them at least. I was told this movies were ordered by remote or by phone line (which way is it now) and that you will not get a bill next month for the movies but only if you ever hook up a phone line to the receiver or you cancel and you send the boxes back in.

How stupid is that. My kids rooms had each a receiver, in one room I did not even had a tv hooked up to the receiver but I was told that I had ordered movies on that receiver. They sent my bill to collection now and I called them about 7 times before and every single rep. Had told me different things. I think directtv is the worst company to have ever dealt with and I will make sure that anyone I know will be aware to stay away from them. Very dissatisfied customer of direct tv. Hope no one else will have to go through what I am going through.
