I ordered 3 appliances on 9/27/10. They were promised for delivery 10/5 & 10/12. Finally got all 3 10/15/10. Fridge and washer came damaged. The person handling my case then went on honeymoon for 2 weeks, leaving me without the use of a washer and dryer. Calls to the company were a joke. All I got was the run around. The washer had been reordered. Then when I called again after two weeks, no reorder was found. Finally ordered washer from another Speed Queen Distributor and they delivered it within two days. Had to pay delivery and sales tax, which were included in Home Everything order. They refused to pay these charges and said that they would give me a 5 year extended warranty... Nothing yet. Speed Queen Rep.in Sales Dept. Said these types of online companies sell scratch and dent units. They go out and find the item when they get an order. Got my freezer door replaced about a month after delivery. Could have been done right away but Home Everything didn't give me the number for the repair dept. Until after Jaime returned from honeymoon. He was very sympathetic, but obviously did not really care about how this situation had affected my life for almonst two months. After continuing to call the company I finally did get a credit for the washer, but thank God I had disputed the charges on my credit card right away. I was not paying for anything until I was credited for the unit that I bought elsewhere. Be warned! This company is not what they appear to be on their website. 5 star, not!!
