SONY TV only lasting 5 yrs

My Sony TV was purchased at Sears 4/05 in San Diego to be delivered to Sears in Midland, TX on 4/17/05 Model Number KDF 60WF655, / Serial #9030372. When I purchased this TV which was $3000 I expected a quality TV and for it to last. My neighbors loved the TV and commented many times however I just put it in for repair and it will cost me $1216.92. It was a bad Optical Block. I am truly disappoint in Sony and will never buy one again when looking for a quality product nor will I recommend it to my friends and neighbors. Delta Electronics recommended that I buy a new set that it was not worth repairing. Sony is no longer a quality company that I thought it was.
