He "repaired" a leaking roof. Then the first rain came, and it was bad as ever. No problem, because he gave me a 3 year guarantee. But, when I called and emailed, I got no response. I then called from another number, and did not announce who I was til he got on the phone. Then he admitted that the roof repair was faulty, and he would send someone out. We played this game for a while, as several appointments were broken. As the mold grew worse. I finally had someone else fix the leak. I then asked Doug for a partial refund (being the nice guy that I am), after I finally got ahold of him. He agreed this was more than fair, and the check would be in the mail shortly. Yeah, right. I played this game for several weeks to exhaust the possibility that he might ultimately do the right thing. This never happened.
