Tried to repair my roof and chipped away ice with a hammer! Never called or returned. I have huge holes in my roof!

He came out to my house to fix a small leak in my roof. It had lts of ice and snow on it so he told me he would take ice off and come back out later to repair the roof. He took a hammer to the ice and chipped away. After the next rain and snow and ice my leak was worse, I called him, and called him no returned phone calls or anything. I finally had a reputible company come out and they got on top of the roof and said" looks like someone to a hammer to your roof, you have holes all over - big holes!" I couldnt beleive it-no wonder the guy never answered my calls or returned them. So now I have a huge mess in my house and a big roofing bill to pay out of my own pocket!
