Wanted to sell my timeshare week

This company called saying they are a third party company affiliated with RCI and they do all the renting and selling of timeshare weeks for RCI. I called RCI and they told me that this company is not affiliated with them and that RCI's HR dept is writing a statement for publication about this company. They called saying they have a buyer downstairs who wants to buy my week. They said they will collect a 22% down payment and if the buyer backs out I get to keep the deposit. The catch is they also want me to give them $1950 to cover title search, title insurance, quit claim deed (which are free and only cost filing fee) etc., etc. When I told them that I would not pay them anything up front they do not want to talk anymore.

Do your homework before selling or renting with this company or any company.

Like they say, if is sounds to good to be true it probably is not!
