They claimed they had a buyer for my timeshare and that they made their money from the finance company, once they got my money via wire transfer, they never called me back

This company called numerous times offering to sell my timeshare for me. It was at a time when I was considering selling because of financial hardship but had not yet contacted anyone to find out how to go about it. They told me they already had a buyer and not to wait very long to make a decision. They said they would even sell my extra RCI Points to sweeten up the deal. They said the owners must clear all costs associated and related to title work for the timeshare property which includes title search, ownership verification, the estoppel letter and deed clearing package for the total amount of $1,198 143.76 tax = $1341.76. Payment could be made by cashier's check or money order or I could wire the money to get the process started even faster. They told me it would take about 30 days for the closing to be complete. I've called them every day since I wired the money and I only get a customer service voicemail. I've left many messages for Preston Richards, the rep who I've dealt with and haven't received any return calls... I think I've been scammed!
