Extra 150 Dollar Charge for Windows XP on New Computer

I have 2 computers that work on XP. I am purchasing a third. However it will cost me an extra $150 to get it with the XP operating system. That is a ripoff and an insult to a loyal Microsoft customer. Sure I could install an illegal copy - but why should I be forced to do something illegal?
