I received a complaint letter from the Better Business Bureau of Dallas that was unrelated to my business. The only connection between my business and the business that the complaint was about was that both businesses used the same last name in the business name. The person that filed the complaint had clearly identified the name and address of the business that she had a complaint about. The BBB had ignored the information and substituted my business name and address.

The real problem was trying get it touch with the BBB to ask them to fix their screw-up. Their online link didn't work - it was just a dead end. I called the next day and got a message that said that they got too many calls to answer any calls and they would only try to return the call one time.

The BBB is inept and careless at best and a scam at worst that provides no service in exchange for their membership fees.
