I called 04/29/09 to inform the total system about the ventilation system that was installed by them, to check why it was not cooling? Brenda sent a technician on 05/01/09. After the technician has finished he said the ventilation system is defective, he said the unit was frozen which he removed the ice, that freeon was also low and told me verbally that the system will need to be replaced. I asked him who will be responsible for the repair and he said the manufacturer will replace the unit and l will have to pay for labor/workmanship which he estimated to be $450-$500. He then asked me to sign an invoice of $203.75 for the service of 05/01/09. I told him that i'll prefer to change the ventilation system since he said the problem will reoccur if not addressed and that was the 2nd time of fixing the same problem within 3years of installation. I told him to tell his employer"Brenda" to give me a call so that we can negotiate, so l did not sign the invoice. Unfortunately, the unit broke down before midnight of that day and not cooling. Left my children and I, in the heat for that weekend, temperature was in upper 80's. I called the next bussiness day which was on a Monday, spoke with Edwina who lied about sendind a technician for days and on Tuesday 05/05/09, she directed my call to Brenda who was yelling on the phone, said "l don't do bussiness that way, l cannot send you a technician, she wouldn't listen to me, kept talking and said she has the right to do bussiness with whoever she chose, l have no time for you and she slammed the phone. I was with a friend name Jackie at the time of incidents. The reason for this complaint is that the unit did not work after repair by her technician, she was not polite on the phone, insulted and slammed the phone on me. This is the highest verbal discrimination l've ever seen. My husband called her after l had taken the children to swimming classes and she lied and sugar quoted the story and made my husband to pay for the repair that was not fixed and discounted the amount to $143.86. Brenda and her staff kept lieing that they were going to send a tecnician until that Tuesday afternoon at 1420 when she spoke with me. I have fixed my unit by another serviceman on 05/07/09 BUT l want my money back.$143.86.
