Broken contract, equipment not working

Salesman told me and in written contract that check for $6377.00 would not be cashed until COC (Completion of contracted services). They cashed check before unit was delivered, did not tell me and delivered non working unit 12/18. They had 4 people tracking mud through my house, doors open all day and unable to get unit operating. Now they could care less since Ithey have my money. Also salesman said I just need a larger breaker for the heat pump and ended spending $2900.00 to upgrade electric to accomadate (100 amp system to 200 amp system). Also intake wont handle larger unit. He just lied and lied and I am so unhappy and have no recourse.
