Mailer Promised Reduced Rate but First Bill Was Full Price

I was sent mail that stated that I would get a reduced amount by returning to DirecTV, but when I received my first bill I was charged the full amount. When I called and asked why, I was told that I did not qualify for the reduced rate. In my opinion, they voided the contract by not agreeing to their advertisement.
