Garnishment Rip-Off

I was in a Debt Management program and Suttell & Associates refused to work with them and would not respond to any of my calls nor my faxes. They then began to garnish my wages, during a period where i had a family emergencie i tried to contact them 4 times by phone and several faxes to get them to respond to me to see if the garnishment could be lowered to what i had going on with my new baby and i explained to them the medical only covered 10% and due to treatments she would need i could not afford the 25% garnishment, they never responded so i finally got threw to some one who i could talk with and he did not even want to work with me. Then he said well lets see you get paid Bi-weekly so garnishment is about $355.00 a paycheck and you get paid when, so i told him i get my next check in one week he said if i could come up with $1200.00 then we could work something out.

I stated how could that be possible when i can hardley afford the $350.00 you take out every check, he then said well if you cant come up with it then we wil just proceed with the garnishment. I explained to him that i would like it explained to me how then could garnish 25% of my pay each check by then want $1200 in one week? He said it is not my fault you dont understand and we cannot help you. I just want to know if there is any help out there to make this debt collection company more willing to work with people.
