Crown Imaging Supplies ripoff MISLEADING SALES PRACTICES

We received a call from a sales person, Sandra C, claiming they provide our company with copier supplies for our copiers. They said that the rates were going up and we could lock them in if we purchased now. We were given what they said would be a discounted rate of $529 per carton of 3 toners. We accepted that rate and paid for it when receiving their invoice that listed $529 for 1 CT. We later received only 1 toner in the mail from them.

We were phoned a month later asking to be paid for our next toner at $529 which would ship out shortly. I clarified saying we already paid for it because it was for a set of toners but they said that this $529 rate was for EACH toner. I asked to get a contract that indicated this, since we only had an invoice that stated what was delivered to us, so that we could see it in writing and that we agreed to it. We told them we would not get any more toners or supplies from them again and that we were not going to pay that amount.

I did not hear back from anyone until 3 months later when another person attempted to collect $529 to send out our second toner. She tried to apologize that it was 2 wks late but that it would be on its way. We explained to her we spoke to someone earlier that we were not ordering from them anymore. Carrie Davis said that she would have to send us a revised invoice to bill us for the difference in cost we received in getting the first toner at a discounted rate, versus the standard $929 rate... For ONE toner! We confronted her on the fact that the sales person mislead us in their sales pitch and that we were not agreeing to those terms, especially since we never did get a contract from them. Then she hung up on us.
