Ripoff, deceptive, liars, sloppy workers

WE began the process over a year ago. They were nice in that they took their time like we asked so we could pay stuff off. They began in July and were supposedly finished in October. We UNFORTUNATELY signed the papers and were told that they would come out and finish their 90% when the painting and flooring was done.

We are in hurricane zone according to them and so we had to pay more, we still have not received the wood for the windows. They had a toilet connected to HOT water, I still have a couple holes in my walls, no light over my island, sheet rock showing around my doors. And now I am worried that they did not do all they were supposed to for the energy upgrade.

Our electric bill is much higher than we thought. Especially since we did not use the ac or heater much in the last month. It has been nice weather wise considering we are in south texas. I am very worried about how we are supposed to afford the house payment (for a house that is less than we expected) and a high electric bill.

They didn't return calls, were very late getting here on days when they said they would come, if they ever came at all. Now reading all of this, I am sick to my stomach.
