Single mother of 5! Yeah they jerked me around too! My house is not in great shape & any late payments they threaten forclosurer but the have shut down in ms now no more houses being built!

It took almost a year for mine to be built as well. I was a single mother! Built a small 1300 sq ft. House put up an acre of land. They only had to do 70% i was to do the rest. It still took a year. The house is a mess the insulation under the house was just held on by net. My conter tops are warped w/big gap from the wall my cabinets are white and yes i paid extra they are coming apart never put up right painting on outside wass never done they never painted the bottom of the front and back door. The boards are too short in door frame the drove long nails to hold them. Siding has gaps so they caulked them so u cant see. Now u can i can hear everything outside from the inside of master bedroom my house has been unlevel since they built it. All the inside doors have gaps dont close or the sliding ones for laundry and closets is falling off. Attic access is turned wrong way they only put a piece of sheet rock over it w / the thermostat on the wall under it. Screen door the put on was backwards so u cant go out it. Wood on porch is swelling up and bending. All plumbing underneath the house was never glued so it came off and flooded under my house. Sinks not sealed you can lift them up the knobs on ficture in bathroom broke they tightened it too much mirrors about to fall off they put littlt screws into sheet rock thinking it would hold. Also little screws in front and back door only 6 in each door door knobs on each door falls off i can go on and on anyways i talked to there rep she said they stopped building and sold all model homes in mississippi thats a good thing but i still dont know what to do with this piece of crap house. How can they get away with it is there anything we can do i cant afford a attorney i can barely afford rent and electric seeing the house does not stay cool or warm during seasons. Oh every time im a month late people call all night and day then they show up and tell your business to who ever if im not there she tells the kids stuff or tells them she will wait. What do you say to 5 kids youngest being 8 at the time when he says mommy is she really going to take our house.
