Company calls stating they have important court documents and ask if they can come to your place of employment and serve them to you. They do their homework, have your current address, cell phone number, employers address and phone number. They have apparently bought old lead names from jewelers where you had an account in 2005 or prior. I've read numerous complaints about the phone number they are callung from stating the same info. They state you have an outstanding balance at said jeweler and are taking you to court. Upon investigation, there is no court docket and telling them they are a scam and you've already filed a complaint wirh tge attorney general of ca and bbb does not hinder them, they are continuously contacting and harrassing you at work as well as cell phone. They never show up to serve you the papers they initially called in regards to and they have numerous addresses when you look them up online. They get flustered, angry, and rude and eventually hang up on you when you ask them their biz I.D. Number or quote out of the fair debt collectors act. W the ca business lisencing, they are filed as "domestic" llc since only 7/30. Further assistance would be greatly appreciated.
