Out dated food marked freshly packed

My husband & I were in Kansas for a funeral it was late we stopped at the Dillons @ 203 W. Kansas Greensburg, Ks 67054 to get fuel and something to eat since it would be close to midnight before we got home. ALL of the chicken in the heat & cold area were 3-4 days old marked freshly packed. The dates were 12-13 to 12-14. When we got up to the register to pay for snacks instead the clerk asked if we wanted drinks to go with this snack, I said no we wanted something from the hot/cold area but all your chicken and sandwich's are 3-4 days old. She said oh like who cares. If we had NOT checked the dates we could of got pretty sick from the 4 day old chicken in the hot area or a lot of the really old food sitting in the hot area.
