Harrassing, rude, deliberately lying, disrespectful Ripoff

Allied Interstate has called my employer numerous times... Even after being told that I am not allowed personal or personal business calls. I tell them that if I lose my job because of them, I will not be able to pay whatever it is that they are calling about. Someone, who did not leave a name, called my place of employment last week. He would not leave me alone, called my office 6 times in one day, and then left a message with our administrative assistant stating that I needed to call them within 24 hours because they had filed a "speedy trial" motion! I called, got no help with what he was actually calling me about... including no info on what debt he said that I owed!

What the heck is a speedy trial motion, I asked? He said that he had sent the information to my county's courthouse and he even gave me a court docket number, and that meant that I would be in court for this debt ASAP!!! Guess what? I called the courthouse, amazingly enough... They did not know what a "speedy trial docket number" was!

Now... Actually telling me that I am being sued in court... Isn't that illegal, especially since my courthouse was a bit dumbfounded by what I was asking them?

This company is so unethical, cruel, and unstopable!!! They seem to be allowed to do business their way, and no government agency makes the effort to step in and correct the issues. Of course... These people work on commission, if they get you (no matter how they do it) to pay them some money, you put money in their pockets too! I thought that times of "breaking arms and legs" to force someone to pay a debt were over... I guess not, and they (collection agencies) are being allowed to torture people as long as they don't get caught doing it!
