Sales Staff Offered No Help With Drywall Repair Materials

I went to the Home Depot on High Tech Rd wanting to buy the materials and equipment for a drywall repair. I wanted recommendations on the best joint compound to use, etc. After asking a couple of self-proclaimed 'experts' who could barely speak English, they simply picked up the box and read it back to me, adding no further insight. They clearly knew nothing about their products or anything about drywall repairs. One of them suggested I needed to replace the entire drywall sheet.

Clearly Home Depot staff are limited to directing you to an aisle or putting things in bags. Forget about getting any helpful assistance. I left in total disgust in search of the closest Rona.
