Home Depot Battlefield Blvd Chesapeake Virginia small engine repair subcontractor is an idiot

I took a portable generator to this home depot to have it repaired. They don't do the repairs in store, they have a subcontractor from hicksville NC come in and pick up the items and take them out of state for repair.
After 2 weeks I get a call from home depot telling me the motor is shot and it will cost $700 to replace it. I had to pay $35 to hear this.
So I get it home and take it to a local repair shop and they get it running. Their report to me was that they had to completely disassemble it because the last idiots put it back together so tight it would have exploded had they got it started. Valves were tight as heck, pull start couldn't be pulled it was so tight etc. Etc. I suppose the idiots put it back together thinking I was just going to roll over and buy a new motor.
My guy got it apart, put it back together and got it running for $100 Home Depot owes me $35 I paid for the NC idiots to fug my sheet up
