Target: sold wrong wii game cannot return

On Wednesday 11/28, I went to Target and told the clerk in electronics I wanted Fifa 13 for Wii. Yes, I said Wii not Wii U. He opened the case and never once asked me which Wii I had. My son and I did not know there were two different Wii games and he opened the game and it is not compatible with his Wii. I went to exchange it for the correct Wii game and I cannot because of copyright laws. The issue I have is the employee who sold it should know there are two systems and ask which one, but he said nothing. If this return policy and the copyright laws are so intense, then Target's employees should warn people about getting the correct game to begin with. I have always been very happy with Target and very loyal and I spent $2000 at Target last year. Sadly, I will stop shopping at Target due to this mistake and I am stuck with a $65 dollar game I cannot use.
