Cancelled a pre-order for no reason

I went out of my way to pre-order a game (Star Wars Old Republic) about 3 months early so that I could get the incentives of early access for the game as well as get the collectors edition before it sold out. This product was very important to me, thats why I ordered it so early. Now that it is almost before the release of the game, Target.com sent me an e-mail that stated that they cancelled my pre-order since they were updating their systems and now that version of the game is sold out. A product that I have been waiting months for now is not obtainable at all because I went with Target.com... I sent multiple e-mails and all I got back was "we are sorry that your product is no longer available" they do not even read the customer service e-mails obviously.
