Inc. Rip-off! Web scam! Order never delivered! More then 3 months and no refund

I placed an online order back on April 19th for two analog telephone adapters (Grandstream, HT-286) for a project I had at the time. I paid for next day shipping, and when the item failed to arrive the following day I called your company and spoke to a very helpful representative that advised me that the items ordered were out of stock.

After several telephone conversations where she offered me devices that were reserved for another shipment, I decided to cancel the order due to my deadline need. The representative promised me a refund via PayPal (my original payment method) that same day.

A month later when reconciling my bank account I realized that the refund had never been issued, since then I've attempted to call numerous times, and I've gotten trapped in their voicemail system menus. I also figured that since the company receives payments via PayPal I should request my refund via the same route, since no human has been available via the telephone.

On May 26th, I received a response to my PayPal request indicating a check refund would be mailed to my shipping address. I never received a check and since that date I've again tried to contact Chagres Technologies and attempted to reach anybody using all their menu options to no avail. All my emails, voicemails and PayPal payment reminders have continually been ignored, and my $164.00 still remain unrefended.

I sent a certified letter to one of the principals on July 9th, which was signed for as received on July 13th. My letter explained the details above and also contained my home, cellular, and work phone number. I have yet to hear from them.in my letter I asked to get them to contact me by July 15th, which would have been nearly 3 months after they originally took my money for merchandise they did not have, plus an outrages $28.00 shipping charge for two items that together would wheigh less than 1 lb. I've since filed compalins with the New Mexico BBB, and the USPS mail fraud division.

I'm normally don't compalin and get situations resolved in a friendlier manner, but it seems that this company is trully a ghost corporation that hides behind voicemail and the intenet. If you plan on dealing with this company Use caution, you may also get burned.
