Billing problems, not posting payments to my acct.internet

Where should i begin? I had at&t internet and home phone for about a year, with no problems. I moved into a house, and had the service transfered, paying the currant bill befor moving. Within the first week at the new house, my phone was turned off! They never received the payment in the mail, so i got very upset and called the local POSTMASTER, they said they would put a trace on the letter.

Meanwhile a week or so goes by and still no trace of payment. Long story short, AT&T had 3 accts on us.instead of transferring our service, they opened up a new acct, needless to say the payment was posted to the closing bill at the apt! (i found this out thru the money order place who called to tell me they have the cashed money order we mail!) so after about an hr and 40 mins on the phone with AT&T, they gave me some credits, and a bundle deal of 24.99 for their highest speed internet and home phone.

As always i wrote the customer service agents name, for future reference. Then we weren't getting our bill in the mail, the month of aug we paid 3x's! Every month calling at&t, to see why we aren't getting our bills, and oh, by the way, we never got our bundle price! And of course, the cutomer service agent i spoke to, they have nobody by that name working for them!

So this keeps going on month after month, so we called dec. 28th 2011 to cxl and went with a different provider. Yesterday we got a bill in the mail, remember when we had service, we weren't getting a bill., the bill was for $489!!! A cell phone bill for $189, the rest was for home phone and internet!!! My husband now has a prepaid cell phone and spent 1hr and 30 mins on hold with AT&T and never did get to speak to anyone!
