Expensive bundle, unexplained charges on bills and service breaks once a week - Charter internet and cable tv bundle

I used to have Comcast and while the billing wasn't easy to decipher the internet service was fast. I moved to Roswell a few months ago and got a Charter bundle (bundle should be a 4 letter word!). Ever since we've had internet problems along with a few times where the cable went out. They've been out 4 times in 6 months to fix the issues which somehow never really get resolved.

We'd see things like $30 charge (one time) show up on the bill after we called and made sure they weren't going to charge us to come out and make the service work that we're already paying for. The bundle makes it hard to figure out what the little charges they add to the bill are related to.

The customer service people switch you around, if you ask for a manager then they give you someone else who isn't and when they promise something it doesn't happen. My girlfriend started calling them daily for a while in hopes that the squeaky wheel would get some grease but it didn't help.

Overall if I could get a cable service with any other company I would.

If you want to know how you could improve your service then I'd do this: 1) Quit bundling charges and explain them on the bill. 2) If someone calls for a service tech because the service is down then credit the acct for a day, it's not that much but it would make people think you might actually care about providing the service. 3) When you run replacement cable lines in neighborhoods then don't leave them lying in the road for cars to drive over, have someone come out and bury them within a day or two, not two weeks.
