Century Link DSL nightmare, refusing to send a repairman, customer service flew the coup

We have been dealing with spotty DSL service for about 8 months now and slow speeds. 3 days ago the DSL died. Online tech and phone support tried to help with the troubleshooting we can do, resetting, unplugging and plugging in, installing a new shorter dsl line, checking the phone filters etc. I was told DSL is active on my line but my Modem from them is NOT pulling the signal.

SO we set up an appointment for today. Well the repairman/tech was a no call no show, I have now called 3 times and chatted twice and each time I get a different explanation, errr umm excuse about what is going on. Now they outright REFUSE to send a tech to our home to troubleshoot it and fix the issue, I have asked and pleaded 12 times today via phone and chat still they refuse.

They claim there are many people in my neighborhood with the same issue, so I walked 4 streets in each direction and knocked on doors (they all know us) and guess what? Each person who has DSL through CenturyLink is up and running, NO ONE has lost service, it is JUST us. I called again and told them this fact, they still refuse to send someone here.

They told me it may be another 2-4 days before they know anything or even repair it in the substation. (BUT the substation is right here and no one has been there for 3 days! I told them that and they had nothing to say) I hate hate hate CenturyLink. So we are looking at 7 or more days with no internet service, refusals to come and repair it and they are still billing em and expecting me to pay for non-service days!
