Seller Out 560 Pounds After Buyer Disputed a Delivered Lens

I sold a lens on eBay and the user paid through PayPal. I sent the lens to the user with a tracking number and details that confirm the user received the lens. The next thing I know, eBay contacts me to tell me that the user claims that someone used their account without permission. This was, of course, after the user received the lens.

I sent the tracking information and proof that the user received the lens. I have the buyer's name, address and contact number, and PayPal did absolutely nothing. PayPal is happy to charge sellers the fee, and buyers pay absolutely nothing. I am out of pocket 560 pounds, plus I have no lens. The package has my return address, and all it would take is for PayPal to actually go there and knock on the door of the thief.

PayPal charges but does not deliver! Do not sell through PayPal. You are not covered as a seller!
