Support fruadulent sellers like beale. Rob. He took $1,257.00 and didnt send the goods

I Purchased a Nikon D80 digital SLR camera and other accessories on ebay from a seller beale. Rob. After winning the auction I paid $1,257.00 very promptly via PayPal. It has been over 2 weeks now and I have not received anything from him. I filed a dispute with PayPal, he did not respond. So I escalated it to a claim. He still has not responded.

I retrieved his phone number from Ebay contact records and when I rang the lady I spoke to told me I had the wrong number. Obviously he has given a false name and/or number.

I then noticed a new seller on ebay with the name don. Space who was selling the exact same item, same description and same starting price and the way the name has a full stop in between was also very similar.

I spoke to a customer service representative from ebay and told them I suspected that he has opened up a new account with a false name and they said they will investigate it. But they have not gotten back to me and the seem to do nothing. They are all talk and no action. This person don. Space has sold the camera to another ebayer and I tried to send them a message to warn them to ask for his phone number first and make sure he genuine before they pay for the item so they don't get ripped off like I did, and EBAY HAS BLOCKED ME from sending them a message! How unjust is that?!! It seems they are trying to stop me from warning others of the dangers and they protect people who are obviously fraudulent!

I am now waiting to see the outcome of my claim with PayPal and am very curious to see what feedback don. Space receives.
