Shabby service on a maintenance agreement

I use to be in the pro best buy category, I rather liked the rewards program. Unfortunately, recent events moved me to anti best buy. My family, for reasons unknown to me hate best buy, but one of my college students worked there, so I let him sell me a laptop. The hard drive died after a year, but the IN store replaced the computer since I was traveling through and could not wait for two to three weeks.
My laptop was damaged during airport security check. Hey no problem, I have the PSP agreement. At first the pick up date was only 9 days—I can go to a cybercaf for that amount of time.
Alas, naive me. Best Buy informed me it could take up to 30 days to repair because they are waiting on a part and sending it out for repair.
I asked the customer relations to replace the laptop, not because I nefariously damaged my own work tool to scam a new one but because it was damaged through no fault of my own and I need my laptop. While on hold I was disconnected. At least I found out now exactly how valuable I am as a Best Buy customer, which is good because I won't buy my new washer/dryer and stove from them. Live and learn. So, I'll get a new laptop, but not a Best Buy, I'm afraid I'm going the ranks of those who no longer shop there.
