Leased laptop damaged and no credit offered for $1800 spent

I have been doing business with Aarons for about four years, and I have never missed a payment. Last year I leased a laptop for 12 months. Recently the laptop was dropped and damaged, and it will not come on at this time. We took the laptop back to the store to see if it could be fixed. The manager told us in the conversation that the laptop appeared neglected and abused and that there was nothing they could do. I have spent $1800 on this computer, and there is nothing they can do. All I want is some type of credit for what I have spent on the laptop. Is that asking too much?
